Former Watford football club of England and super eagles striker, Odion Ighalo says his partnership with former teammate Troy Deeney was exceptional.
Speaking with Rob Wotton on Sky sports news Ighalo said: ” it is a great team play with him in the championship and even the first season in the premier league”.
He further gave reasons for his English premier league exit saying ” the second year in the premier league was not that great, the season did not go down well with some of the guys because a new manager came in and the whole system was changed”.
Ighalo said sometimes he played on the left and sometimes on the right which makes playing his game difficult. “I was not playing much too, I was on the bench in some games and I did not find it easy. After my first season in the premier league, I want to do better in the second season but if I am not having much playing time, I have to leave”.
Ighalo in his first season in the premier league in 2015 made 37 appearances with 15 goals, 3 assists and player of the month award in December 2015.
