PREVIEW: Cameroon Vs Australia

African Champions, Cameroon, will seek to strengthen their hope of qualifying from the group stage, in their second game against Australia at the on-going FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017 on Thursday, June 22, 2017, at the Saint Petersburg Stadium 18:00 local time.

Cameroon is taking nothing for granted, after losing the Indomitable Lions' first game against South American giant Chile, by 2 goals to nothing.

Goals by Arturo Vidal and Eduardo Vargas in the 81st and 90th minutes respectively won the game for the Chilean after they had a goal disallowed for offside by the Video Assistant Referee.

For Cameroon to achieve their aim, they will need goalkeeper Ondoa and striker Aboubakar to be at their best.

Also coming from a shock 2 - 3 loss to a "depleted" German side, the Australian are also hoping to get the maximum point in order to keep their hope alive.

Possible Line-Ups

Cameroon: Ondoa; Mabouka, Auguissa, Teikeu, Ngadeu; Moukandjo, Aboubakar, Bassogog; Siani, Djoum, Fai.

Australia: Ryan; Degenek, Milligan, Leckie, Wright; Juric, Mooy, Behich; Sainsbury, Luongo, Rogic.
