HOOPERS AJEGBEYI SET FOR 5TH ALL-STAR GAME

Players from Rivers Hoopers and Hoops & Read Basketball clubs dominated the list of 12 players selected by the Nigeria Basketball Federation's head coaches for the 2017 Kwese Premier Basketball League All - Star Game in Kano.


Hoopers Solomon Ajegbeyi who has had a stellar season in his first year at Port Harcourt based Rivers Hoopers will be joined by teammate Emmanuel Balogun with both making their fifth All-Star game appearances while Oghenetano Emuhowo who has been shortlisted for a second straight All-Star Game completes the trio of the KingsMen heading to Kano this weekend. Komonibo Victor, Oriakhi Oween and Jide Ogunsemore are their counterparts from Hoops & Read after the debutants had a wonderful season with their club so far.

Rivers Hoopers head Coach Ogoh Odaudu will be the coach in charge of the Atlantic Conference and will be hoping to lead the Conference to victory after the Atlantic Conference lost the All-star game to the Savanna conference last season.

The 2017 All-Star game is set for Saturday, 17th June at the indoor sports Hall of the Kofomata stadium, Kano.
